Question Big injectors for future mods on cam only?

I was wondering...right know I am building a cam only combo for max power and track times. I have a turbo that I am going to set up sometime maybe next year and then I will need the larger injectors.

My question is can I use 55 or 60# injectors with the cam only combo?

Injectors are expensive and I would only like to buy one set.

Is ther a crossover point wherer the lower duty cycle of the larger injectors meets less performance or bad gas mileage on a cam only car? The rear wheel power will probably not exceed 430-450 hp N/A.

Thanks guys

I don't think you would have a problem as long as the computer is tuned for whatever size injectors you are running.

A product you may be interested in is the MAF Translator. If you don't want to buy a new set of injectors, programming can only get you so far and the translator will help you tune the fuel delivery for better drivability with injectors way oversized. The MAF translator can be found at http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/ls1catalog.html part # 518LS1TRANS
You may already know that injectors in that delivery range will probably run you $750.00

Thanks for the link....I dont know what to do yet....it may be better to just buy injectors that are right for the app and then bite it and get a bigger set later. Yeah ~$750 is a lot of money.
