Evo vs LS1 Video
This was at a RSD event at Great Lakes Dragway last year in October. This was a heads up race that was setup in about 2 minutes for $100. No **** talking, no arguing... Just run what you brung no popping lets see who faster action. Also there is a link to a race where I spotted out a friend of mine 7 car lengths for a coke. Enjoy!

There were no timeslips with thoes runs since it's setup as street racing, but he was on MT DR's. He did get me off the line, which happens with manual vs auto trans a lot of times. No idea on the 60', but on thoes tires I would run about 1.60-1.65 on average.

You must not get to the track much the lane that has the lights at the end of the race is the winner.

Looks like you really started to pull on him by the end, but it is tough to tell. Personally I like to see ETs rather than a bright light becuz a bright light doesn't tell you too much other than who won (ie. traps speeds, etc...). After the fact, did you got the mods of the other car? What are your mods?

That was a decent video, but I didn't see who won, someone want to fill me in?
Has any one else noticed in a lot of videos the camerman seems to not be able to hold the camera? [This isn't the care in this video, but maybe you know what I'm talking about]

you're joking right?
sounds like a pack of swarming bees that were bouncing off a redline,
no offense to the car owner, different strokes for different folks

If cheatnchad on this board is from Rockford than yes, that was him.. The super rice wing does help me gain atleast 60whp. Neither car was stock. I'm still on a stock head, and bottom end though.
Just a little recap, chad got me off the line and it took me till right after the 1/8th mile to catch up and pass him.. Right at about the 1000' mark I missed with gear which is why you see that fireball come out, but managed to get it in on the second try. I ended up winning by about 1 car.

Maybe the t/a coudn't get it in third gear :dunno: but if he ripped you off the line, how the hell did you catch back up then proceed to put a car on him? Cause I race evo's all the time and if they dont get me off the line they are punished badly by the time I hit third.
