I have one for sale if your intrested. $175 shipped. low miles. Include -10 inlet and -8 outlet fittings. For another $20 i'll give you the filter. It's the 8" or 10" long filter that comes with the LS1 speed inc fuel system kit.
PM me if you intrested.

Heres why I ask, and Ive mentioned it before.

The biggest Bosch pump I had heard of is the "044" named as the part number is 0 580 254 044, easily recognised as it has threaded fittings for inlet/outlet instead of the more usual hose tail style

Its rated at anything from 180lph to 300lph depending on who's specs you read, which seems to be a massive variation. Available in 5 bar or 10 bar models

Nowhere near the 420lph though, so is that a different pump???

Searching the web sees very different results
I wont link to the sites as they are not sponsors, but info taken from various sites selling the 044...from UK to Oz, to the US.

One lists both the external 044 at 270lph rated at 650bhp, and also show an in-tank Bosch 044 pump rated at 600bhp. ( Australia )

Another site lists B 261 205 413 as a 200lph 10 bar pump ( and the 0 580 254 044
as the 5 bar 200lph ) ( United Kingdom )

here this link shows the 044 at around 240-250lph ( UK again )
http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/new_page_10.htm

Another site rates it at 4.1l/pm ( 246 lph ) ( Australia )

Various sites rate it at around 500bhp, others up to 700bhp. I even seen someone suggest it was an 850bhp pump ( thread on an Oz based Forum )...

Another Oz site says 700bhp for external, 600bhp for in-tank

The intank 600bhp version could be handy, although a bit pricey compared to a Walbro.

So what is the pump you guys use in the US ?? Is it different to the 044 pump everyone else uses, or is it a lot more capable than some people suggest??

Dan @ Speed Inc. has a 95 Cobra, YSi, T45, and has done almost 900rwhp with the dual 420's. I did the same setup based on his results.

For 900rwhp, you need at LEAST the 420L's for a dual external pump setup.

We are shooting for a minumum of 800rwhp... and i do have 2 planned.... Out of each line from my sump... into each filter into each pump into a Y-Block and my -8an to the front...... Like my questions before.... do you see ant FP drop John at WOT and what is your base FP because i will be going with 96# injectors probably....... and are you using boost ref. to raise FP under boost John?
