Just curios if anyone has ever got one from a junk yard or somewhere else for dirt cheap. The mustangs run good rear ends and there always seems to be plenty of those at the junk yard.

What do the top two threads have anything to do with what i asked. I want to know if anyone or if its even possible to pull a strong rearend off of any ford and bolt it on. If you can what upgrades to it is required? Someone at the track had told me someone did this for a total cost of around $500. Just curious. I'll will most likely shell out the money for a good one. You get what you pay for.

The housings are different and torque arm mounts and so on. I also believe that they are different lengths.
