Default Patriot Stage II heads

Assy. 2.02"/1.57"/59cc

We use a new GM raw 035 casting.

Precision welded combustion chambers.
Heat treated to OEM specs.
5 axis CNC machined.
Hand detailed and assembled.
Patriot Stainless Valves
Bronze Guides
Patriot Gold .650" Dual Springs
Titanium Retainers
5 Angle Valve Job

I just bought these heads on ls2.com. They are new but I bought them for $950 because they guy decided to go low compression he said..

My question is.. He said they were about 8 months old. Patriot told me that that was right about the time that they started chaning something from 234 to 240 (forgot what lol) So they are probably the 234 which gives more low end but still good power..

I dont want to spend a lot of money on heads. I just dont want to get some heads taht will cause problems..

What do you guys think about these heads?

appreciate it.. I see why i got nothing in the search I use patriot every time instead of PP

Im kind of illiterate on this stuff and $1000 may not be a lot of heads but its a lot of money to me so I wanted ask around.

They was I was looking at it was a good set of springs/ti retainers/ ect would be close to $500 so I might as well pay an extra $500 while I was at it and they should at least give me 20+ hp...

thanks again

I appreciate that and will probably take you up on that just to be safe... I have no problem w/ your heads, I was looking toward them before I found these. I just couldnt decide between these and your newest heads.
