Default NE Jumpboxes, or just Vacuum for shifts on TH400???

Seen Yank post in reference to a jumpbox to control the shifts on a TH400. Is there products out or are the current TH400's running off of vacuum modulation? Not sure its important if I get the Reverse Manual Valve Body, but thought I would ask NEway. Thanks.

One more, using a RMVB, does it still auto shift if put into 3rd (D) or no? Never used a Manual valve body before, sorry.

I have a th400 with a turbo action reverse manual valve body. It has no vacuum or electrical.

Not sure why you'd need a special box on a th400 anyway, all stock th400's use a vacuum modulator and an electronic kick down solinoid.
These aren't needed with a manual VB.
And no you won't get automatic shifts out of a manual VB th400.

Charlie
we are making a pcm controled Valve body for the th400
this is a special new design for those that want to use programming to control shifts
you do not need this to use this!
but it is a extra feature

Thanks both for clarification. Interesting, more decisions, dont like the old kickdowns etc...so looks like a RMVB + TB.
