Default Which would you pick?

Money aside which LT's and Y-pipe would you pick? QTP's or Kooks? I searched LS1 sounds as well and it is to hard to decide based on recorded sounds. I want a deep rumble (I am going catted) no rasp and a mean sound throughout the power band. They both perform well so this is no longer the concern just what you guys would suggest.

What ever you can find cheapest. They are both based off the grott design. Both of the line header

I'll say a generalization here, They are the Same! Design was copied from Grotty, both are stainless, both are the same size primary tubes. I see nothing different other then the Cats and Y-pipe (may or may not alter sound) and welds-nothing significant.

Get whichever is cheaper I say. QTP I believe has a sale going on right now, well worth it :driver:

go with something cheaper like the pacesetters. its 700 dollars cheaper. you can invest that money on other mods. everybody that has the pacesetters are all happy with it. as much as i have been reading on the pacesetters the installs have been easy, and yeah the y pipe might be a wack but i heard its performance is really good. but those qtp do look good though thats for sure.

Just what he said, from what I have read QTP is the best. But damn its expensive. You get what you paid for though.

I've got QTP's and love them. Not a single complaint with the headers. Not saying they are better than Kook's, just sharing my expirience.

I got QTP's waiting to be installed. I'm not biased either way, I just went with which was cheaper.

QTP and Kook's LT's are the same, but the Y pipes are different, the QTP is the better because they use the flowmaster merge collector, which is a true collector, I believe the Kook's Y is just like any other Y pipe with one pipe that is just welded into another pipe, no true merge, my vote's for QTP's.....

I went with QTPs, but only based on the Price. Get what is cheaper. QTPs Y is better though.
