General Maintenance & Repairs - Ignition stuck???

When i turn the car on/off the ignition is locking into either position. I have to almost brake it off to get it into/out of postitions. Any ideas what could be causing this??

Uhhh if your car is anything like my 93 camaro you have to push the key toward the steering column to make it move freely, it is suppose to do that. :)

It is locking itself out in both positions (i've tried everything from pushing the brake to jiggling it, no go). It is not supposed to make you almost break it off to get it to go on, i have no clue what could be wrong with it.

dunno if you fix this problem yet, but i had this same problem, and i just fix it right now a minute ago. what you gotta do is jerk the hell out of your steering wheel left and right fast until you hear like a loud click. then it should be fixed.
