Default 408 cam

i am trying to see what cam the guys that have a 408 are running. i am bulding mine to be n/a and i want get the biggest i can and it to be streetable with a decent idle because there are times i am in alot of stop and go traffic and i also take the truck on long road trips when needed. i have been looking at the comp cams XER273HR but i am not real good about cams picking cams out.

In our 408s we run stuff in the 230s @ .050 for nice street engines using a hydraulic roller and then of course get bigger for more racy street stuff and then with a little more compression and the right gears and/or converters you can go much bigger. Our normal "S" cam which is our standard baseline cam makes 480-500 RWHP at the wheels in 6 speed cars and the bigger ones make 500-550 RWHP with the right supporting peripherals and tuning.
