Right now.... stock wheel studs in front.

I run Weld drag lite 15 X 3.5's with a 5/16th spacer along with the weld draglite lug nuts.

Local track (e town) says this is fine...

Another track (island) tells me I need longer wheel studs.

Might as well be safe...

What size wheel studs/ open end lug nuts would you all recommend?

i have the ARP wheel studs up front that Thunder Racing sales. I run a weld the same size but w/ out a spacer and they real close to what is legal for NHRA

With a spacer only the GM long stud is long enough to technically be nhra legal.

nope...still not 100% legal. The threads have to come thru 10mm and they do not. but they 'look' long enough since the unthreaded part comes flush with the lugnut

gm studs here. they are also a lot cheaper than the arp's. only problem is they are not hardened.

Can these GM studs be picked up from a dealership. Anyone have a part number, or do I just ask for longer studs for 99 Camaro?

Ya they will just nock a hole in er! J/K i just put arp's on the frt of mine for 22.00 bucks. just do it & be safe. I used stock open lugs on my crager ss's for the street. Doesnt look the best but will work for now. Lets go RACING!

Be carefull w/these if you're running any kind of spacer. I was using these w/ 7/32" (~3/16")spacers on the rear w/15x10" 7.5"BS DragLites. Bent all 10 studs after only 1/2 dozen or so launches. As stated above... they are NOT hardened.
