Default How do I get the rubber off my Qtr panels?

I tried a search on this subject and it didn't work???

Last season I did some burnouts at the track and got rubber all over my rear quarter panels. The car broke and went to the shop and I never got a chance to clean it off. I got the car back yesterday.

I can't get the rubber off for anything? It is caked on there pretty good!

Any advice?

By the way I was told by someone to use PAM on my car and that the rubber would wipe right off.
Well that was bad advice, the PAM dried and turned into concrete on my quarter panels and the overspray blew all over the rear of my car.

What a hassel it was to remove all that gunk. It still is not all off after hours of work. Mind you this is on a spotless car with only 5000 miles.

Any input would be appreciated.
Also what should I use in the future so this does not happen again?

Thanks

Geddex makes a product called "Burnout Gaurd" Protects your paint and comes off easy with a hose

I'm not sure how good brake parts cleaner is for the paint, but it takes off rubber in no time at all because it is designed to take off all oil-based things.

I think pam would have worked if you hadn't let it dry for so long. I would try wd-40 oh and I hear PAM takes paint off, at least I've used it to get paint off my hands.

Clay bar works well too. It won't last long with all the rubber build up but does work.

Next time use crisco from you kitchen. Just put on before and the ruber will not stick.
