Default Question about F-Body PCM hardware

What years are able to mate hardware for PCM swaps?

I have an 2000 PCM from a wrecked SS that I am trying to sell.

Thanks in advance!

99-02 PCMs are similar enough to be exchanged without issue (you can also run any of these OS's ... I'm running a 2002 A4 OS in my 2000 A4 right now)

98 is the only year for F Bods that's odd man out

Hey Horist...

What all is involved with using this PCM on my '99? Just make sure to turn of the traction control, etc since mine doesnt have it?

Thanks

This PCM does not have traction control or ASR turned on since the car did not have it.

Also I believe the TCS /ASR stuff is controlled by the BCM not the PCM. Main thing you want to make sure is the OS is for your transmission type (more critical for an A4, an M6 will run on an A4 OS, but some items like CAGs, and I think reverse lockout won't function properly)

You can also have the PCM reflashed by a dealership or anyone w/tuning support for the PCM

Yeah thats why I need the PCM...

TXHorns281 & "Larry" (Of the Larry valve spring tool..) are both willing to help me on the reflashing, etc, but I have the '99 PCM

I've got till Friday to come up with either a PCM for a 2000, or find someone with tech2 in Houston who can change the VIN on my '99 PCM Im moving Tuesday to S. Texas.

Thanks Horist(again) & 02TX, I'll let you know about the PCM....
