Default Pacesetter Open Headers ok?

Well i'm finally going to install my pacesetter headers tonight down at the shop. I may not get the Y-pipe put on tonight so i was wandering if it will hurt my car by runnin open headers for part of the day tomorrow? I'm not planning on taking it to redline or anything, but i just wanna make sure i won't damage anything..Let me know. thanx guys.

After my LTs go on, i will definately want to run the car w/ open headers just to hear it. I haven't heard of any problems with it.

You'll be fine! I did the same thing with my old car, drove it around for a day or two open headers without any issues

Just dont get on it. It will give you a nice massage. My car threw codes and didnt run too well on open headers, but it sure was fun to scare people.

It can screw with the o2s, but as long as it just for a short time, you'll be fine. And nothing can describe what open headers sound like

I left my o2's disconnected for the short time I tried it, it should force SD mode since they would pegg lean with the o2's in. It will scare the crap out of anybody in a 1 mile radius. lol.

I ran open headers for 3 days. It was really irritating after about the 2nd day. Would scare the hell out of people though. I actually got pulled over on the third day. The cop just wanted to hear it up close! He said it sounded so awesome, then he quickly told me to get it fixed and let me go...

I'm doing the same thing in May (installed Pacesetter LT's etc.) and now I'm even MORE convinced that I might not get the job *entirely* done that day! Muhaha! Cruise to the local hangout Open Header Style...

A story on a story, a buddie of mine was running just headers, got pulled over and had a warrent, so he went to jail that night. But the cop told him he almost blew out his ears(he was running an LT1 with a huge cam and heads).
