There is also a great book for tuners called "Corvette fuel Injection, & electronic engine management" by Charles Probst
and for the FI guys
"Supercharged" and/or "Turbocharged", by Corky Bell. Got both at Amazon for a good deal. Both excellent books. I have Corvette and fuel injection, and the superchaged also.
The Corvette one was recommended by Ken Kelley, who wrote/writes LS1Edit

I had pre-ordered mine last year sometime in december, haven't gotten it from amazon yet though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
That corvette fuel injection book that was mentioned is a good book, I've got that too.

I ordered my book a month or so ago on www.bn.com that is Barnes & Noble Books, and they have there listings set up to where you can see books that are coming out in the future and pre-order them so that is what I did.
ISBN# 1557884072
I order most my books through them, order 2 books online and get FREE shipping, which is cool you know what book you are getting, the stores dont always carry what you want and when you buy at your local store you have to pay taxes too.

Looks like the one CEndres (Chris Endres) wrote. He used to own the silver Z28 what was always in GMHTP (he writes for them) and is now owned by ARE (8-sec. LS1).

Anyone have the new LS1/LS6 book?
Is it any good? I mean, I'm sure it's good, I guess my question is does it have a lot of information in it that you didn't already know? Is it worth it? I'm thinking about ordering a copy from Amazon.

Re: Anyone have the new LS1/LS6 book?
I got it. It's very well written and informative. I'd say it's more for newbies to LS1/LS6's. For me it didn't really contain any info I haven't already picked up in the past 3 years. I wish this book would have been available 2-3 years ago, it would have helped me alot. Basically it's like having the last 5 years of info that's been all over the net message boards all in one book.
I'd recommend it

Not a bad book for the price I got it for (free). I just happen to be lucky enough to work for the printing company that makes that book and all the other HPBooks.

Actually, Chris Endres started out on this site as one of our Administrators but stepped down because he needed the additional time to write that book. It was a long project for him, and I'm glad he accomplished his goals of writing an LS1 book.
