Default longest lasting tire (always peeling out)

I peel out all the time. I only drive my car on the weekends and use it mainly to do donuts and slide around corners, so the easier it peels out, the better as well. what tire would last the longest under these conditions? thanks for any help.

The Nitto 555R is a good all-around performance tire w/more life than the BFG's IMO.
MOST ppl I have spoken with like the Nittos for a street/skidpad environment.
I agree, and stay w/275 series 17's. If stock rear, you'll be happy IMO.

Wish I could have said that at last year's rally......all 2000-2002 look the same, and we must have had 8 pewter Formulas/TA Hawks.

Wow, thanks, but too many around IMO, OR maybe I've just been around too many Firehawks.

I think they made 117 of 1505 in Pewter for 2002. So whaz up in your neck of the woods?

My apologies!

Continentals tires, haha. They are so hard, had them on my last car, about 40,000 miles with them spinning ALL the time and still had lots of tread left. They were so bad that with only a lid and exhaust I could break them loose flooring it at 70, NO JOKE!

Just go buy the worst, cheapest tires you can find. Back when we used to screw around a lot (burnouts, donuts, etc.) we would go to one of those used tire places and get two tires for the rear for $100 mounted and everything. Also, when you're trying to break traction, you might want to get some Z28 wheels that are 16x8 and put some 245/50/16's on there. They have less of a contact patch and will break loose easier.

My car came with the Continentals...and yeah they do bust loose quite easily. But mine are not lasting too long.

Man I am reading this thread and all I am thinking about is how much money I have spent so I don't spin the tires.

Anyway I would go with the Continentals or some cheap yokohamas.

i thought about doing the 16x8s, but getting new wheels is an expensive proposition, but I understand what you're saying completely. i've even considered nitrous just to break them loose in those second gear, hard cornering situations, up in the mountains where my power is even less than in town (Denver)

The higher the treadwear rating, the longer it will last. I can't believe nobody said this yet, geesh.
