Look at the Comp 850's about half the price.

i've heard horror stories about people with comp's and them messing up their motor. I do NOT want to do that

Those stories are about the Comp R's, not the 850's.

hrmmm, i will have to read up on those more now. I did not know it was only the R's, thanks, saved me quite a bit of $ like bigdsz said.

from what ive seen the only ones that have issues arent setup correctly with the correct preload when installed and rockers tightened

There's Melling too at about $160 most places; good replacement for stock.

people try to run comp r's w/out adjustable rocker arms, then they run into problems. i have the comp 850's in mine. they are OEM replacements, i got them from thunder racing along with their pushrods.

i just ordered some Comp 850's lifters to replace my junk lifters. I got them for alittle under 200$.
