Default Flanges on Long tubes?

Ive got pacesetter longtubes and the pacesetter ORY on my 02 WS6. As most of you know the headers/y pipe uses slip fittings. With my car being lowered I have a problem with scraping and seperating the headers from the Y. I dont want to weld them together. Has anyone ever had flanges welded on the the headers and Y? I was curious to see if anyone has done this. If so how much should that cost? Would the headers have to be taken off the car to do so? If anyone can help me it would be most appreciated.

how low is it? What I did was put a couple of band clamps with the bolts facing to the side so that this part of the clamp doesn't hang down.

That's exactly what I'll be doing this spring. Those band clamps are cheap insurance and less hassle then welding things up.

I went with 3-bolt flanges on my Pacesetters. I cut off the excess collector to about an inch behind the O2 bung, then had the flange welded on. I had to push up the floorboard a tad to fit the flange.

I had flanges welded on my Pacesetters too. I would recommend it.

I have V-clamps on my FLPs - they are bulky and scrap and bang...
