OK, so sell him yours sardog. Or did you break that out into 500 pieces ripping it out too?
Mine IS coming out. REALLY! I figure when the tall valve covers go on, the PCV, EGR & AIR will come off. 1 I don't think there will be room for all that crap, 2 it will only cover up those pretty new pieces, and 3 it aint needed....just adds 20lbs & doesn't accomplish much.
PS I ordered the block off plates yesterday (all polished of course)

Just out of curiousity, why do you need the AIR pump for emissions? Are you throwing an AIR pump code because it's gone? You could always have the code deleted, and then you'll pass the OBDII scan if that's what you're worried about. As long as you don't throw codes, you'll pass... they don't even pop the hood.

From what i've been told the AIR pump just heats the cats up a lil faster on initial warm up. Mine's getting the axe next weekend. but it wouldn't be any use to you cuz it's already fried. My block off plates should be here tomorrow

I have HP Tuner for 00s Pat....I can delete that DTC....excuse me, turn it off for you. I'm going to be in the Totem Lake area Friday night (@ Steve Goodwins house) and I was bringing the laptop to clear a code for Steve.

yeah, having to worry about the dtc is a pain... my tune pretty much got rid of oh, about 60% of the dtcs in the computer. I swear my PCM has enough empty memory space now I could get on the internet and download **** with it.
