Default WTB air pump

Anyone in King Co. or general vicinity have an air pump they took off that they want to sell? (It's for a 2000, don't know if they're different for other years.)

Yea Right Mark. You have been saying that for how long now. I'll bet you are going to take you're EGR off as well. I will believe it when I see it.

OK, so sell him yours sardog. Or did you break that out into 500 pieces ripping it out too?

Mine IS coming out. REALLY! I figure when the tall valve covers go on, the PCV, EGR & AIR will come off. 1 I don't think there will be room for all that crap, 2 it will only cover up those pretty new pieces, and 3 it aint needed....just adds 20lbs & doesn't accomplish much.

PS I ordered the block off plates yesterday (all polished of course)

Well it's worth about $25, since that's what I can get one for if I want to ship it cross country. But I need one soon, due to having to get emission inspection in a month, so sounds like yours wouldn't be available in time. Actually all I really need is the rubber cover that goes over the front, since mine got eaten by mice (!) - I can probably find some way to seal it off and re-install it.

Just out of curiousity, why do you need the AIR pump for emissions? Are you throwing an AIR pump code because it's gone? You could always have the code deleted, and then you'll pass the OBDII scan if that's what you're worried about. As long as you don't throw codes, you'll pass... they don't even pop the hood.

Yes, it's the dtc I'm worried about - I can clear it but it stays in memory according to autotap. Don't have means to delete it at the moment, and figured it's easiest to just hook the thing back up. Also have read some stuff about possibility of cats getting clogged over time without AIR.

From what i've been told the AIR pump just heats the cats up a lil faster on initial warm up. Mine's getting the axe next weekend. but it wouldn't be any use to you cuz it's already fried. My block off plates should be here tomorrow

I have HP Tuner for 00s Pat....I can delete that DTC....excuse me, turn it off for you. I'm going to be in the Totem Lake area Friday night (@ Steve Goodwins house) and I was bringing the laptop to clear a code for Steve.

yeah, having to worry about the dtc is a pain... my tune pretty much got rid of oh, about 60% of the dtcs in the computer. I swear my PCM has enough empty memory space now I could get on the internet and download **** with it.

I have one sitting in my shed you can have. I'll take 25 for it. You just have to come and pick it up. I just need to remember what it looks like to find it. I know I have it but it was one of the first things to get the axe when I started modding the car.

Is it the same pump for the 99's and 2000's just the 2000's had the breather tube?
