Default 700R4/4L60 or 2004R in a 67 camaro?

im stuck deciding if i should rebuild a 93 700R4/4L60 or get a 2004R. i've heard lots of things about the 700R4 like about it being weak and all. the 2004R is much stronger from what i've read. what do u guys think?

if you use the xmember from a th400 the 200R4 will bolt in. the dshaft might even work. good luck
