Default Driveshaft weight difference?

I know its probabaly been posted before but i couldn't find it anywhere.. but does anyone know the weight difference between all the driveshafts made for LS1's?

Carbon fiber, Chrome moly, Aluminum, Denny's... any comparisons?

Stock Steel - 17 lbs
LPE Aluminum - 12 lbs

that 5 lbs really makes a big difference too! seems crazy but i think its worth paying extra for! i'm glad my camaro came with an aluminum one!

Anybody have any other weight comparisons?

Yeah i do
Stock Aluminum= 13-14lbs
Dennys= About 23.5

haha when i get my 9" i think i am going with a chrome moly DS... i am already going to lose enough RWHP.. especially with my A4.. but atleast i'll never have to worry about my rear end breaking again haha

Wow thats weird cuz I have the same ds and its shipping weight was 25lbs and I dont think the box weighed more than 2 at the most

Edit** So i was thinking maybe they just didnt estimate good when they shipped it and sure enough mine said 19lbs when I just put it on the scale
