Lower your MPH shiftpoint for the 2-3.

I have my 98 set to 5800 on the 2-3 shift and it completes the shift at 6300.

I've always just done it iteratively, creep it up until
I hit rev limit and then back it down 1-2MPH. The
high stall just lets your RPM run further ahead of
MPH under power and you have to see what your
MPH really is, at (say) 500RPM before limit wide open
and put it there.

What are your tuning options?
