Default Need advice and opinions to do 11.40's pretty much full weight

I want to do it full weight, minus spare, minus front swaybar for traction and I'll be running Weld wheels all the way around.

Opinions on combo's are needed. I want n/a combos no nitrous no blower or turbos.

Here's the criteria. 2002 SS A4 Must be very streetable and able to pass emissions. I have my own ideas but want opinions from the experts.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

I'd go with gears (your definition of streetable), stall (I believe the SS3600's are big talk..), TR220, asp crank pulley, exhaust, possible head porting, tuning and slicks.

I'm no expert, so I'm not making promises, but that should be a good start!

Good luck!

I'm thinking of ported ls6 heads, 224 cam at the very least and all the same stuff you mentioned.
True dual exhaust too. I'd like to run Lou's cam but I need to definitely verify for sure that I won't need to flycut the pistons. I'm liking the ss3600 but I think they make a ss3800 which is pretty tight for the street. with the 12 bolt and 3.73's I should get some good acceleration.

If going 11.40's is that easy then the setup I'm thinking will be overkill, but that's okay.

Thanks buddy for responding.

We just put one in my friends car earlier tonight. Thing is, with this cam, and the true duals, you won't be emissions legal by any stretch of the imagination!

I just found out that I won't have to worry about emissions for a few years, so I'm going catless.

I won't have to worry about emissions anymore.

Which forum am I supposed to ask this question?
