Default Gun Metal Vs Polish Rim

I ordered some Smoothie II's polished rims but they sent the gun metal instead..I havent seen them in person since I am overseas but the guy I ordered them from said he has called the distributor and still has the gun metal grey rims waiting on me to say yay or nay on them before he ships them back...I was wondering how they would look on my Pewter TA? Anyone have any input before I tell him an answer...right now I'm leaning towards the polished rim unless you guys convience me other wise..

The only thing I'd suggest over a polished/chrome wheel on a Pewter car is black. I don't think GM looks good on Pewter because they are close to the same color, but they aren't, so it looks weird. Have you considered black?
