trouble getting rpms to recover, fuel trim problem???
so i was/am still having a hard time with my car at idle. the rpms are changing so much and some taps of the throttle the car will act really sluggish, but when driving its not too bad, only when you first crack the throttle.
i was looking at my log and the fuel trims are pretty out of wack, i have new injectors and a new tune. my question is, if i take some time and some tuning to get the fuel trims right would that help correct this idle and cracking open the TB problem? i just didnt know if erratic fuel trims could cause problems keeping steady idle and what not.

I would think that too much fueling in the VE around Idle would affect Idle when you crack the throttle.
When you delta the MAP or TPS you'd be getting way too much pump shot (if your fueling is too much) and that then may affect the Idle.
Do your plugs get a lot of black soot build up around the outer ring?
It might be beneficial to lean out your VE around the area of idle and a little lower on the table (more load) until you reach the point of stumbling when you crack the throttle.... that way you'd know where you were at as far as the lean limit, and could up the fuel from there.
There's different ways to troubleshoot and make adjustments, but that's just an idea I'd probably try myself.
