How much does it cost to have a pcm refashed by the dealer? I'm thinking abou buying a pcm for 100 bucks and want to put my vin on it.

I called FI*** in warwick the guy's like "oh I said the wrong thing ahhhh ummmm yea if you didn't buy it here screw." oh well any one?

thats due to the fact that most dealers wont flash a junkyard pcm as half the time it wont take anyway. plus it has to be in the vehicle to program .
why do you want another one anyway :confused:

well I have a 68 transplant that I will put it in but if i can flash it to the same vin and stuff as my 01 I will have a backup just in case, for either car.
Or I could just leave it the way it is but it will use up a spot on my efi cable. so if it's cost effective I would get a reflash from the dealer.

Well I missed this one it was only 100 every once in a while ebay has some with free flash like 160 or so. I'll keep looking
