Default Installing TR224 .563 112 LSA & 918 Springs

Just line the dots up dot to dot for the cam?

Do i need to have the springs installed to a certain height? or could i just put them and done? with this cam and springs?

With a TR 224 .563/.563 112 LSA and comp 918's how many miles do i need to driver before i could go WOT. How many heat cycles? During a heat cycle do i just drive the car around and let it cool down a few hours or do i have to let it sit overnight?

The quick answer is install the springs, 3 heat cycles and you should be good to go, 918's can handle a lot more cam than most people give them credit for.

basically a heat cycle is getting the engine up to temperature and and then turning off the car and letting it cool down completely....to ambient temperatures...
and usually 3-5 cycles depending on the cam and the springs...
3 or 4 should be ok for you

um...yes...line up the dots on the cam sprocket and the crank sprocket...double chack...triple check...use a dial indicator if you can.....cant be too careful...

(and this next part is just my $.02)and WOT is ok after you work the springs thru the RPM ranges...slowly going higher and higher...I usually try to put 50 miles or so on them before going WOT High RPM....

after my H/C install i let the car idle for about 5 min, then drove it for about 15 min,
keeping the revs under 3K, then let cool over nught.
the next day i drove it for about 20min and kept it under 4K, let it cool overnight.
next day drove for 30min, and hit 5K, the next day 6K and then drove it like normal after that....

the only thing is that you need to be at normal temp, before you rev real hard...
most springs are brittle when cold.
