hesitation when starting off my 4l60e was rebuilt bout 5 months ago and when the car gets to operating tempature and you come to a complete stop it hesitates when start off again. it does not shift and shifts hard. any ideas on what might be wrong?

Hmm, sounds like a lesser version of where mine is at right now.
When cold it is almost normal but once it heats up (roughly 3+ miles of driving) it's slips badly and takes like half throttle to get the car moving. Once rolling it again it feels almost normal.
