any of the sponsors carry a line of fiberglass or CF lift off ram air hoods? I know Glasstek makes them but can't find a web site.

Here is another company that makes lightweight hoods, based in Chicago area.
PSJ is supposed to be working out a custom hood design with them for both of our Formulas. Might take a few months though.

They sell the Glasstek 4" Cowl hoods, and If they can get those then they can probably get the one you want too.
I got a Pro5.0 shifter for a 5 speed 3rd gen Camaro through them because I like to only deal with them. They dont advertise one for a 5-speed on their site or have any in stock but because they sell that "brand" they were able to get it for me. Just an idea.

JAVA,
I remember Angie at THUNDER RACING had a GP going on last year with several brand names of hoods. I think Glastek was one of them. Good luck. Maybe another GP?

thanks guys, what sponsors are set up with Glasstek? Perhaps we could get a GP or at least use my moderators discount

Glasstek is not too far from my house.
I went down there today, ordered a pin on 4"cowl hood.
It will be ready in 3 days.(VFN said 5 weeks).
If you're going to have it shipped, get it though Speed Inc.
I didn't save any money getting it direct,It was a time/convenience thing.

VFN sells a lift off stock looking hood that weighs 12 pounds and is only 250 bucks!!
Be sure you tell them you want a STOCK bodystyle hood and not the hood for their complete body kit.
Cheers,
Chris
