sorry for bringing up insurance again.
but i was getting ready to try and purchase a 2001 WS6 but before i go to get approved for a loan i wanted to check out insurance. I am 19 and figure i will be raped with 250-300 a month and i could handle alright along with a 300-350 dollar loan payment. I've gotten a few quotes today and was thrown off by the many 5000+ a year quotes im getting. Not to mention i just got quoted from geico and it said 4800 which i thought was for a year, clicked further and that was for 6 months!!, whats going on here, i have a clean record, no tickets, no accidents, license since 16, ive owned 3 cars and one is a H/C/I 74' dodge dart sport (pay 100 a month full coverage)
Never did i think 5000+ a year or even 4800+ every 6 months from geico!!
Is there a trick to doing this? I see so many 16,17,18 years olds on here that are paying for 00'-02's and have insurance obviously. How are they doing it?
btw- even under my parents name its 3900+ a year and they have no accidents/tickets....
