Default Ok I wantto go to a bigger cam in my 408. Will I have tunining issues???

Right now I have a 234/242 .598/.610 114+4. I want to go to something like 248/254 .620/.620 112. The car is tuned fairly well right now, except for sputtering when its cold. When I do the cam it might take me a couple of months to get it tuned and it is my daily driver. Is the tuning going to be thrown way off by stepping up cam size or will it not be so bad since its already tuned??

It will be a totally different tune. If your tuner is well versed, it won't be a problem. For a daily street driven 408, try a 244/248/113

I understand that I will need tuning the question is will it be driveable on the old tune for a couple of months? Or should I wait until I can put the cam in and tune it all at the same time?
