Drag radials?

Drag radials?
Well Its time to buy new tires. Right now im still on the stock rubber, and going with BFG 275/40/17`s. But I think its a good idea to invest in some drag radials. That way id save my tires at the track, and it a good excuse to drop a little time on the 1/4. Neways, i dont know anything about them. Anybody know what size i should go with? Price to expect? Millage to expect? Or performance gain? Please help!

Welcome to the site.
Nittos' are your low cost choice on DR's although, they seem to run narrow . . . BFG make a good DR, and MT has entered the market.
Mileage wise appear 10,000 - 12,000 is the most you'd get. I am by no way an expert on DR's but I recommend using the search feature at the top, and you will find a wealth of knowledge.

Nitto = 12000 - 15000 on the street. Hook OK at the track.
BFG = 6000 - 8000 on the street. Hook good at the track
MT = low miles on the street, at least that's the opinion now. Hook the best at the track.
I guess it depends on what you want from the tire. I run Nitto DR on the street and change to MT slicks for the track.
