Are you seriously finding that at Home depot? is it just big tubing it or is it contoured/bent to a good fitting shape? I would definetly do it for $6, gotta try to straighten that air inlet some.

The fernco and my MTI lid did not like each other.... Kept poping the passenger side of the lid out. I think the ones with the little hump would do better as it leaves a little room for flex.

fernco 3" coupler... in the PVC plumbing section... rubber....
I have had no issues with it on anybodys lid so far....
heat it in a microwave and use some gloves to handle it to get a little more flexibility...once you get it on...tightend down the clamps....the rubber will hold its stretch and shape after that....so it wont pull on anything...

and yes...$6

guess i should have tried that, i cut and cut and bitched and bitched some more and finally said the hell with it. I had a link of a company that had the 'hump' hose like everyone is buyin for like 15 bucks.. Baker hose is up to 30 bucks now and it doesnt have the hump..
Might just find a truck stop and get something there... who knows..

The Fernco and WS6 cars do not go together...I tried to install one on mine, but since the WS6 has the raised air lid it doesnt want to stay on so I threw it away and put the stock one on...I know you have to trim the inner lip on the throttle body side of it and the people that I know that use them put them in the microwave to make them stretch some and makes them fit better supposedly....
