Default MT ET Street Radial "The Best Ever"

Over the past years I have had Nitto drag radials, BFGoodrich drag Radials, ET Streets, Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOTs. These MT ET Street Radial have got to be the stickiest tire I have ever had. They ride and handle extremely well on the street and for my application (99 stock A4 TA) they will dead hook on the street. No tire spin what so ever and that is at 32psi. I have never had a tire that would hook like this one on the street. I can barely get them to turn over power braking. Just so you know where I am coming from my last TA ran 10.70's with 60fts in the 1.4s. I would recommend these to anyone.

Has anyone tried them on M6? Are they really that much better than ET Streets?

Yes, they are better than ET Streets. But, don't buy them if your car is daily-driven, as they won't last very long. VERY soft tires, I'd only run them on a weekend toy.

I have them on my daily driver. Love them, on the bottle at like 15mph with no spin. Im only using them on my stock rims until i can buy better rims, then saving them for weekend poundings.

ok, that made my decision easier. BTW, I would use them on another set of rims.

Do they "sway" like ET Streets? I don't like that feeling towards the end of the track.

No they dont sway at the big end, thats the advantage of it being radial construction. It is a great tire and hooks as well as my ET Streets did, 1.67-1.74 in a 3900lb car with a stick.

My only problem with them is they weigh more than my ET Street and tube combo by about 6lbs each.

FadBlk, your sig intreguies me. Do you have a different front fascia on that car and a different rear wing? Is it a TA or a formula? 98 w/ an LS1 swap, didn't they come with an LS1 or did you get a v-6

The front facia is a wings west ground effects as well as the rear spoiler. Yes, it used to be a v6 (3.8) so it's neither a TA or a formula, it's a firebird.

Thank you. I don't wanna take over this thread, but I'll post some pics in the appearance section for you to see if you want me too. The spoiler doesn't curve up, it's just more like an extension. I have some better pics of it from the rear too if you want to see.

Hey Birdman, have we met at IRP on the Tuesday Night Street Legal Drags? My car kinda stands out from the other F-bodies. White with a Gold Phoenix on the hood. Can't miss it.
