Default Typical gains with Nitto 555

With my new gear swap traction is a big issue now. I'm currently running Kuhmo ecsta 245/50/16 On stock rims (they are cheap) And Sumitomo HTR+ on my 18's. I am looking into Nitto 555 for my 16's and possibly my 18's. Is there really much to gain at the track with the Nitto 555. If so how much?

I ran them a few times at the track. Not exactly sure how they improved my times as I had made a few other mods along with them. They did hook pretty good.

I'm getting them for this season. But I don't know exactly how much they will help. I have been told .1-.2.

Hard question to answer because it all depends what your 60's are now. My car typically runs 3-4 tenths quicker buy going from 1.80s at street night to 1.60s at TNTs.

I ran with the 3.73's now and cut a best 2.0 60 foot If I I nail it the tire go up in smoke. I let my buddy take it down the strip he ran a 15.2. I ran it and consistanly ran 13.4 hit 13.38 once. My mods are not too significant so is there much too gain.

The Nitto 555R is better than the 2 cheap tires you mentioned (unless the Ectsa is the MX which I hear is pretty decent). Just make sure it is the R type. The other regular Nitto 555's are plain jane tires. Only the R is the soft and sticky one.
