Default G5X2 cam is in!!!

This thing is a freakin' beast! That is, if I am able to get it to idle. I usually have to two-foot it from light to light, but I am already used to that. Once it is in idle, it cams like hell. My tail pipes shake like crazy, and the car is like a big noisy vibrator. LS1sounds does not really justify on how loud a big cammed car really gets, and how good it sounds. This thing pulls like crazy too, and wants to go well beyond the 6k limiter. I know that from a lot of reading that the low end will be like a dog, but it really isn't that bad, I am very surprised.
Now, to the negatives. I have the sewing machine syndrome from my valvetrain, but I don't really hear it unless my windows are up. Also, I need some input on this, this may or may not be a stupid question:
I popped the hood last night while the car was idling and noticed on my passenger side that blue sparks were being visibly seen. Is this normal? Excuse my ignorance on this, but I don't think it is
I checked my fittings, all seems ok. What could be causing this?

PS: Soundclips will be up soon

i'd say you'd need new spark plug wires ... congrats on the new setup

Oh, I find out. The spark plug boot wasn't plugged in. It had fallen out. Duh
This thing DOES NOT want to idle. I ALWAYS have to give it a little gas, though when I stop, I can throw it in park, and it'll sit there idling at around 600-700 rpms. I have people looking at me like I have a piece of ****, or it's badass. NOthing in between.

You need tuning or to drill your TB.

Check my sig for specs. Looks a bit like yours.
Are there any dangers or precautions of running this thing untuned? I'm awaiting for a tuner in my area and I don't think he will be able to work on it 'til at least a week. I'm thinking I can drive it around, and keep off of it for a bit, and it'll be okay. Minor things I can deal with, but I don't want to do any major damage.

Yeah. You should be fine just driving it around. Just don't get on it and take it high into the rpm's as you will most likely be running way lean.

That ticking noise you are hearing is most likely the lifters. Especailly since you are still running the stock heads and p/v clearance is not an issue. To replace those you have to pull the heads. I just did a h/c swap and I have a really bad case of that sewing machine/ticking noise. I've talked to FFHP and a very trusted source and they all believe that it's my stock lifters.

I agree with the G5X2 being a monster.
I had some people tell me that my car was missing a lot when they heard the lope
One guy told me that it looked like I needed a tune-up bad
Idiots.

I used to respond with stupid **** like:

"You really think it's missing? Maybe I do need a tune-up, huh?
I was wondering what all that shaking was about. Thanks for pointing it out."

or

"With gas prices skyrocketing the way they are, I decided to disable one half of the engine, so I'm only running on four cylinders. It saves me a ton of gas"

And they were " ".
