will i have to get my lq9 heads machiened

Default will i have to get my lq9 heads machiened
to fit these??

Comp Cams 978 dual valve springs, titainium retainers, locks, and locators that came on my AFR/TEA heads.


or will they snap right into my stock lq9 heads

call comp and ask them. if not, call TEA and ask them since thats where you got the springs.

the spring pockets will need to be machined, the 978's are 1.46 OD.
