Installing QTPs and ORY tomorrow.
Hey guys, Im installing some QTP LTs and QTP ORY pipe tomorrow and was wondering if you have any advice or tips for the install. Im not really worried about the headers, more so the Y pipe. It will be mating up with a GMMG. Just hoping you guys could give me a heads up. Thanks!

just take your time.. have the car high up and if you have a buddy to help even better...take lots of beer brakes in between and smell gasoline once in a while to stay awake..

Hey Nick, what's up. I just got some Jet-Hots and that ory I bought from you put on my TA about 2 weeks ago. Like the other guys said take your time and do it right. ONe thing I definitely recommend is putting in a pair of poly motor mounts. It is a kick *** mod, I have 0 banging/rubbing problems with the headers or y, and the drivetrain feels more solid now. Also, it is 10 times easier to do the mounts right after you take the stock manifolds off. Don't forget a little antisieze on the header bolts, and retorque them after a few miles to make sure they stay tight. Later, Pete.

Why the ORY over a highflow catted one? Price? Volume? Some people don't mind, but it's going to get very raspy/tinny in the mid rpm range. I personally think no cats ruins the sound of the GMMG on LT1/LS1 motors. Sounds much, much better with them IMHO of course...
But if you like LOUD, you'll love this set-up!
Good luck as the QTP's are one of the best (next to Kooks) on the market,
Mike
