Default 455 c.i. LS1

I was reading in a pontiac magazine that there is a company making a 455c.i. ls1 has anyone else heard of this or know more about. i was thinking about going this route becase i would love to have the extra horsepower and have nothing externally on the motor to show for it, kinda like a sleeper!
thanks

MTI makes a 455 Stroker. They take the 7.0L 427 and stroke it to a 455 ci if i am not mistaken. Let me tell you though this sure as hell is not a sleeper. 228/232 .588/.575 113LSA sure as hell does not sound at all like stock. What nobody will suspect is that you have 100+ extra cubes in there but it sure doesn't have sleeper status.

MTI says it is 605hp/610tq (dyno'd 534rwhp/542 rwtq) https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...achmentid=9480

I plan on going this route within the next 5 or so years (and i kno something bigger and better will come out but i am stuck on the 455)

That cam in a 455 will sound very tame.
I'd like to build something this big and cant wait for the LS2 7.0 block or that Merlin block comming out at the end of the yr.

The cam does sound damn but far from stock, the only clip of it on the web is through True Duals, try it through a Y-pipe and Catback itll change a bit

That's a pretty small cam, seeing how people are going bigger and bigger these days.

Mine is a 232/234 .598/.598 on a 112 LSA on stock cubes.
