wow personally i love the kdws but ive heard people that have 400+ rwhp say that have alot trouble in the rain with them. (but what rwdrive sportscar doesnt have trouble in the rain? haha) i love BFGs, im looking to get g-forces for my car. try finding a 295/35/18 tire! haha its nuts. anyway id go with BFGs. some people would say go for whats cheaper.

From my personal experience with BFG passanger car tires, I don't think you can beat their rubber. These tires are probably pushing 50+ K (honestly have no idea when they were put on the car cause it's an 00 malibu hand me down) and the car has 100k+ now. They have great grip, good wet weather traction, do ok in the snow, but they're an all season radial. I've abused the **** out of these tires @ times because I love to carve corners and face it, an 00 malibu handles like a pig on a surfboard, and they are still holding up, though will probably need to be replaced this summer/fall. As far as tred life, I think BFG has a lot of other companies out done right now. Might pay a bit more for them, but I think you get your money back over the life of the tire.

If you got to tirerack and compare the 2 you'll see the GS-D3 beats it or ties the KDW in every area. I've heard good things about the KDW's but I can tell you that the GS-D3 is the best tire I've ever owned. Only problem is snow. Do not use them in snow at all.

my KDW's were awesome on the LT WON until I picked up a nail and razor blade. I will probably go with them again when I have to wrap my 18's in rubber, I loved how they handled in the rain and the tires always give warning on dry pavement before they let loose.

I really like my GS-D3s. They have great wet and dry traction. I've never had BFGs to compare though.

I would go with GS-D3's. Looking for 295/35/18's is a pain in the *** as far as something affordable goes. I think the KDW 2's look awesome, but they weigh 35lbs a piece. Tack on another 25 or so for wheels that's 60lbs of rotating mass not including having them aired up.

In the snow maybe. That's about it. You're probably thinking of the stock F1's.

Here. You'll see that the D3 beats the KDW in every single category and in some by quite a bit. It even beats the High performance KD in every category except for dry traction and handling and that's almost negligable.
