Wet Shot on LS1 won't make it threw intake??
I had a guy at work that was swearing that you can't do a wet shot on a LS1. Is this true?? I was wanting to go wet but if this is the case then nevermind. Sorry about the dumb question. Thanks guys.

TNT 150 wet here. Trust me, its making it through the intake .
I believe what your friend means is that the LS1/LS6 intakes are not the best to do a wet sht with, a lot of the hardcore racers around here have told me that, and they all agree that direct port is the way to go as far as an LS1/6 engine goes. I don't know much about manifold design so I have no comment on that, but I do know that my car loooooves the 150 wet shot

The guy doesn't know what he's talking about . You can go single stage wet, single stage dry, 1st stage dry 2nd stage wet, 1st dry 2nd dry, 1st wet 2nd wet and you can combo any of these into three stage. I like the dry 1st wet 2nd myself. Bench racers without real experiance often get things mixed up.

I have a 100 wet shot in my 2001 silverado and an aftermarket intake and it works fine. I dont know if the intake for the cars are any different, I put my shark nozzle in the bend of the intake about 3 inches before the throttle body.

I didn't do a DP because the class I'm running in is limited to a single nozzle or single spray bar, no DP's allowed. Actually I'll be running closer to a 400 shot.

Well I want to go direct port with the new setup from cold fusion, similar to NOS. The nozzles go directly below the FI's so that is the easiest and cleanest setup I've seen, no drilling, tapping, anything. Smooth transition. If you go to slotcarracing.com they have the throttle body piece that you can hook up your jets to, I'm going to try that for a bit, I like the setup, and it looks to be VERY hidable, its right in your face, but the way you can run the lines should be a nice hidden job.

That guy is a tooldis probably just jealous that your gonna be a whol hell fo alot faster than he is. I have my (2) TNT F1 nozzles tapped directly into my TB. So if it is gonna work I have the best shot at and it does work. I know plenty of people who have their wet nozzles going into their intake tube and it worls fine as well.
