LSX 90/90 on larger ci
408ci, 2.055/1.6, 238/242 .608 and it is behind an LS6 intake, stock TB, and stock MAF.
I just cant decide if it is worth the money, but I feel like my motor needs it, this may seem obvious but...
Is the LSX 90/90 TB worth the money? What gainswould I expect?
Is $1200 worth it?
I think the major ? for me is, do I want to try to max the motor NA or just take the easy way out and put a 150-200 shot on it...

yes, go for it!!! though they are one the3 expensive side, you can opt for the burst panels and be assured that your manifold wont go south when you hit the switch and miss a shift!!
the ls6 and stock tb are restricting the 408, open her up and you will see a big difference is idle, stability, power and petal feel.
See the dyno results, you might be surprised. If anything i would suggest another TB since the fast 90mm have some quality issues that are, IMO, not worth the $$.
this is wat i would suggest:
http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=Induction#
find the Nick WIlliams TB, its a 90mm and i've only heard good things about it.
good luck!!!
