Default car won't start

This happened before I put the car away for the winter. Now the car will not start at all.
The car turns over.
I can smell gas.
Haven't checked for spark
Battery is new and even tried jumping it for more juice.

The weird thing is before when it did it the fuel pump would come on then stay off when that happened the car started. Now it comes on every 5-10 seconds you hear it run for a second or two but the car doesn't start.

*no work was performed on the car at all for at least 4 months.

Give me some ideas I got to get this thing running its getting warmer out side.

I check and see if there is a wasp nest in the intake. Then check for fuel presure. Then check for spark.

No bee hive. There is no spark just did a quick check didn't chase anything back.
Does the VATS system kill the spark, fuel, will the car even turn over? I don't know how that system works.

What about an ingnition relay or something? I don't know where any of it is or how to check.
Thanks for any input.

Check to see if your coil packs are plugged in? Just a thought

Crank/cam position sensor? Ground wires on the back of the drivers head?
