What's the highest stall you'd go with bolt ons only?
I have a stock internal/bolt ons only (headers/ORY/cutout/LS6 intake/weight reduction etc.) Z28 with 3.23s (for now, maybe 3.73s later on), mostly stock suspension and a raceweight of roughly 3400 pounds soon to be running on M/T ET Drag Radials (BFGs no longer hold with my old 2800 stall).
I want the highest stall I can get before it starts to hurt me more than help, if there even is such a thing as too big of a converter that is.
Not worried too much about street manners/driveability though the car will still be driven on the weekends once in a while.
Pretty set on PI Vigilante converters too btw.
4400? 4000?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

This might help. https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/273788-quickest-stock-internals-list-11-82-bump.html
I think you'll be fine to around 4400. I could probably handle a little more (than my 4200).

Must be pretty light too, I like lightweight things in my car.

stalled
these big stalls are great for getting off the line, but when your out cruising your lightly modded hot rod any speeds under 40mph the car will probably feel mushy just my .02
