Can you use Hard tube AN fittings on steel fuel line? It says for use on aluminium line everywhere, but doesnt say if it can or can not be used on standard factory steel lines.

Anyone ever done so without leaks?

Ya not a problem, you can use a standard AN fitting-either Steel or alum on either a steel or alum line.

Aluminium and stainless can have 90 deg bends, it all depends on the radius of your bender and type of bender you use. The tighter the radius the more chance you take in making a flat spot in the radius.
