FM14 or a G5X-3, they make awesome power with good torque.

T-ReX.

Or a G5X4 if you're willing to try something else.

The G5X4 is, essentially, LG Motorsport's answer to the T-ReX. Obviously they're quite different in design, but both are large, max-effot cams.

The T-ReX powers the world's current quickest and fastest cam-only LS1, and the G5X4 powers the world's current quickest and fastest stock bottom end LS1.

Obviously, they both seem to be working pretty well.

I have heard a lot from many people, but i have a hard time getting away from TSPs cams. Here soon I will be buying a cam, and really want to get peoples opinions before i make some mistake.

if you get dead stuck between two cams, do like steph said and find one on a GP, or call up the respective shops and have them earn your business. whoever gives you better service when answering your questions and whatnot....there you go. a cam purchase is a big one if you get a kit...make sure its with the right people.

with that being said...my money is going to the great folks @ FMS

Well, as i see it. LGs cams are right around 440 bucks for a new cam. At TSP, you get the cam kit for right around 700. Unless there is specials i dont know about.

I just installed the MS3 this week and have been tuning it myself (first time) with hptuners. I have a 3500 stall right now and stock 3.23 gears. So far tuning hasnt been bad, It starts right up and finds idle right away. It surges very very slightly when stopping at a light but thats about it.It has never come close to dying. I can see it needing some taller gears but for now its been great. I idle around with a locked TC at 42 MPH with no problems what so ever. No bucking at all. Great cam so far.

I am not too worried about surging because of the 6 speed, but there will still be some. As far as i can tell, 1200 dollars for a cam kit is really to high. I can buy a spring compressor and pully pullier and still be under that price with a TSP cam kit.

My buddies are doing very well with the T Rex. I just had to make a cam selection and I bought the G5X3.
