I heard that when GM installs them they freeze the axle shaft and heat up the rings. Good luck, I have tried putting them in my press and I break them everytime.

Moser axels WJ. I left the stock rings on the stock axels so if I need to I can just change the axel with no effect on the abs or traction controll.

GM Muscle how do you make one? I put some hot water in a can then droped in the ice but it just smoked.

Get some water bottles or soda bottles. Basicly anything with a screw on cap. Fill them a 1/3-1/2 with water and jamb a bunch or dry ice into the bottle, screw the cap on, huck it away from you and give it alittle time. They are ******* loud when they blow, I had threw 3 2 liter ones in the empty dumpster at work and the cops showed up not long after. Luckily they all know us so they really didn't care.

BTW: I'm putting in my Mosers today. For some reason mine came with a dual bolt pattern, not that I'll ever need it. The backing plates on the end of the housing don't have to come off to slide the axles out, right?

right they come out once you take off the rotor and the c-clip.

I ordred mine irect from Moser and told them i wanted the abs and stock patton and their studs, cuz they didn't have arp I bought some but I think I will use them in the front.

Wow, that was easy. Only took an hour poking along. Luckily the inside of my rear still looks brand new.
