Default 150NOS wet shot ok with flycut pistons?

I flycut my pistons for the intake valve with the ISKY tool to about .050-.055" and am running a TSP 233/239 cam, milled .024" 205cc AFR heads (66cc orig), LS6 intake/ported TB. I want to run a NX 100-150hp NOS wet shot.

Do you think this is safe? I only plan to use it maybe 20x a year. Is this not wise on stock pistons that have been flycut? I know I am pushing my luck already on them.

I'm a little weary...... I did sand the newly created piston notches with 400 grit sandpaper to remove any sharp edges before putting on the heads.

I plan to spike my fuel with 100 octane when using NOS for a little more safety and retard the timing 2-3* across the board.

I would really appreciate some input. '98 shortblock with 23K miles (supposedly) and Katech rod bolts I added.

T56, 3:90's, 255/50/16 M/T drag radials, about 2950lbs with driver.

Thanks,

Mark

MTI flycut my pistons for the Y1 cam. I spray a 150 shot and its okay. Like always, get a good tune and you will be fine. I love it!
