Default got 11's 6 hours after the car was cranked with the new engine.

For 3 runs I had a problem with the Pro 5.0, that b*tch hates 4th gear. 4th pass I got a 11.49 @ 120. I'll practice a little more and give it another try. Mods in sig. I either need a new shifter, or practice with it.

Well that car used to be much quicker(10.17 I think)with the poorly built turbo setup. It might have run better if you had cleaned up the previous setup

I understand the car was faster with Rob, but the turbo that came on the car was in dire need of all new hot parts, and I prefer a little different setup. If I went F.I., it would be built with true headers, not a log, that system creates way too much backpressure. I am happy with what I got out of the car, for the time it's been running and the setup. I think she'll be close to her old time once the TNT F2 wet kit goes on.

What did you do to the motor? Fresh? Surely you didnt give it some breakin time on a new motor before hitting the track?

So I see your happy with the motor. Hopefully mine will be running by summer. Glad to see what the motor was capable of with a good suspension and a good driver.

It was a 38000 mile shortblock, and we bolted my GMPP LS6 heads on it. "NBMSS" has the whole turbo setup and engine that came out of his car, so I got his engine. All we did was have his file for the tune pulled from his computer and flashed in mine. The tune for my car needs a little more timing, and it's running a little fat. With my heads it put the engine @ 11:1 compression. It has more in her, I just decided to give it a try @ the track to see where we're @.

its amazing how much better your times are when you use 4 gears instead of 3. just messing with ya. car runs good, and has a tenth or two left in it with a wide ban tune and some suspension tuning. i don't think you guys understand what we went through to get that thing running friday, much less to the track. suspension was setup the same way we put it on the car, computer was flashed at 4:45, over the axle pipe was made at 5:30, drove it home, then to the track. only "track prep" that was done was airing done the tires. even left the cut out on. give it a few months... it won't be in the 11's for very long.

If you would have been following the whole deal with this car you would know why it was sold. One person wanted the car and another the turbo set up. I am the get err done guy! I provided the garage and helped Mike get his car together and I am bulding the turbo car also I don't think anyone could have done a better job or as fast with what we had to work with! 11.49 I don't think that is bad at all! No suspention tuning just how we set it up on the car right off the bat. And Caveman trust me when I say this the set up the car came with is not near the one Rob went 10.17's on. Oh by the way where are the pics you were going to take for me (Bracket)?

Quick Reply: got 11's 6 hours after the car was cranked with the new engine.
