Need help with shift light.

Unhappy Need help with shift light.

Installed MSD shift light cannot get a tach signal-- tried everything I know and everything i've read on the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

00 Pewter TA patriot stage2 heads, 224,228 581-581 cam,ls6 intake,slp oil pump,double roller timing,slp lt headers & y-pipe, flow master exhaust, ported tb, high flow bellows, GMS mass air sensor, ls1 MS air lid, K&N filter,spec stage3 clutch, light weight billet flywheel, NOS 100 shot.

Check out installuniversity.com. You tap into a white wire off the PCM. I believe it is the #10 pin.

Already tried that didn't work, just my luck, but thanks for the suggestion.

make sure you are looking at the connector the right way to find pin 10....
mad a custom cable for something once..and the connector was from the inside view...not the outside view...so basically I read it left to right and it should have been right to left..... its ok though...I figured it out right away....
you might just have the wrong pin somehow
