Getting ready for race season. I got a set of 275/40/17 Nitto 555R extreem drags & 4.10's. hopping to take 1/2 sec off my et. What do you think?

I had the same basic mods you have less clutch w/nittos and 4.10's last year.Stock I got 13.4X@106.5 and with the mods I got like a 12.9X@110 and drove it down to 12.6x@110 slip/dumping the stock clutch,it popped a few 12.5X.I killed the clutch with the cam.

I ran 12.8's @ 110 consistently last year on crappy street tires. Hopping to get some <12.5 et's.

Had 2.1->2.0 60's

Well I sucked at first and got around 2.0 on nittos.When I got it to the mid 1.8 range I got 12.5-12.6

i went from 12.8's and 2.0 60's on stock tires to 12.3 with 1.77 60's on 245 nittos and the add addition of a 12bolt with 4.10's only other mods were a set of headers, ory and lid

I went from 1.86 sixty foot 12.9 at 107mph on nitto's
to
4.11 gears, relocation brackets, v-6 springs(front)

1.70 sixty 12.5 at 109mph

I know you asked about the gears and tires, i changed a little more, the times show what suspenion will do. I was on stock 3.42 gears and it bogged off a 5,000 dump. With the new gears its doesn't bog at all.

I gained 3 tenths swapping from 3.42's to 4.10's on nittos.
